From September 23 to 30, 2022, LAB-MOVIE Project Promotion and Membership Meeting was held at NOVA University Lisbon, Portugal. Participating in the event were Vietnamese partners, including Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA), Hanoi University, Hanoi University of Industry, Nguyen Tat Thanh University - Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Nguyen University, and Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Association. There were also experts from the University of Padova - Italy, University of Salamanca - Spain, NOVA University Lisbon - Portugal, and Steps Organization - Italy.

At the first meeting, representatives of five universities in Vietnam reported the results of the enterprise survey and the research and analysis of the labor market in the assigned fields in turn. The researchers and experts discussed, analyzed and solved outstanding issues and proposed solutions to improve the reports. At this meeting, Dr. Vu Thi Hanh, on behalf of Vietnam National University of Agriculture, presented the results of a survey on businesses operating in the field of agricultural food with 04 main job positions: Production, Quality Management, Research and Product Development, and Sales. The survey results showed development trends, recruitment needs, and basic requirements for the knowledge, skills, and qualities of the candidates according to each group of job positions. This is very useful information, helping to support the updating of university training programs in order to fully equip students with necessary knowledge, skills and qualities to meet the requirements of the labor market.

In the second working session, the universities continued to present their plans to organize project activities and build a platform to promote and disseminate research results in the coming time. Project Coordinating Board participated in contributing ideas to the plans proposed by the universities; introduced the pilot platform and guided how to build and exploit the platform in a sustainable way to contribute to improving the employability of learners in the future, and, at the same time, deploying the implementation plan for the next work package of the project.

According to the schedule, the universities in Vietnam would continue to complete the report on the results of the work package 2, complete job descriptions, and prepare the content for the construction of the Labor Market Observatory (LMO) platform in the near future. It was expected that the next activity of the project, the online training on LMO platform management, would take place on November 21, 2022.
